Pittsburgh Proposal Photographers-Proposal At The Point

Its the end of 2015 and its been such a great year! I am so excited to share this awesome proposal at the point with you all! So Eric is a DJ here in Pittsburgh! Eric needed to find a photographer that his girlfriend Kristi didn’t know about. Luckily we have a mutual friend and he found me through our friend Brittany! For a few weeks Eric and I went back and forth about the details and how we were gonna plan out the whole thing! After he thew some ideas around he decided on The Point since they had the Christmas tree up! So on Christmas Eve they were going out to dinner on Mount Washington. So he had to tell Kristi that he wanted to go down to the point to get photos by the tree! They were all dressed up for dinner and it was all coming together so great!

Inevitably Kristi was like why do we need to go to the point? Hahaha! She had no idea what was going on though! I decided that I was going to bring my little sister down to take photos of her as a distraction so Kristi didn’t wonder why a photographer was just standing there! So once they were down there by the tree my cue that it was about to go down was by Eric asking me if I could take a photo for them while they were in front of the tree with their cell phone! I honestly was super nervous haha! I made small talk and walked away back to my sister. It was right then that he grabbed her hands and began asking her! Her face lit up and I basically started to cry behind the camera! Even my little sister who only sees this stuff in movies was like “OMG I feel so happy!”

As Eric went down on his knee I captured the emotions while my sister recorded the reaction! After it was all done I walked up and introduced myself “officiall” haha! We walked around the point for a few more photos and then they were off to dinner to celebrate! I absolutely love being a Pittsburgh Proposal Photographer! This city has so many beautifuil locations to pop the question. There are so many iconic sites that you can go back to and relive the moment!
